    Hi,

The theme template overwrites are not working for the file geodir-location.php

It shows the template, with headers, footers, wrappers, etc, but output of do_action(‘geodir_location_content’); is not rendered.

I’m talking about an unchanged version of the original. Just copy the orriginal file to theme/geodirectory.

All other template overwrites work as they should.

the location page actually uses the home page template, please look at that.

    Thanks,

I am experiencing a similar problem. I have display on homepage turned off and have changed permalink settings from “location” to “directory.” When I add geodir-location.php (unchanged from original) to theme/geodirectory the location or in this case directory page nothing loads within “geodir-wrapper-content”.

    Hi,

yes I’ve noticed this previously with another member. What are you trying to do? We may be able to provide functions for any change on that template without moving it in the theme folder.

In the mean time I’ve flagged this for developers.

    Thx

The first thing I was trying to do was add a div class to the wrapper. I was able to do this for all the other template files.

The best thing would be to remove the action that is adding that DIV, than re-add the action with a modified function that includes your extra class.

Best way to get started is reading John’s tutorial on how to integrate the plugin in any theme: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/how-to-build-your-own-theme-compatibility-plugin/

This method can be used for all tempaltes without having to move any template inside your theme.

    Let us know,

    Thx

I have changed the way those templats work and location page should use it’s own template now and it can be replaced in child theme. This will be in the next release.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
