Every time I install a new plugin on my website I get the following error :

There was an issue determining where GeoDirectory Plugin is installed and activated. Please install or activate GeoDirectory Plugin.

GeoDirectory (v2) is activated and refreshing the screen makes the error go away, but it is a bit concerning.

    Hi Philip,

This isn’t a known issue and we would like to check your Website backend in order to understand a little bit more about it. Could you share your WP admin access in private reply so that we could check on it?

    Thanks!

GD Booster is not compatible with V2. Use any other cache plugin.

GeoDirectory Dashboard is for V1 and not compatible with V2 and should be deleted. Dashboard is built into core for V2.

GeoDirectory ReCaptcha is for V1 and not compatible with V2 and should be deleted. A new version for V2 will be available soon.

Once these were deactivated I activated UserWP without issue. Please check and let us know.

Brilliant, thanks for that. As a new user I’d assumed that it was backwardly compatible with all plugins, but all good. Happy to close this call.

To keep our plugins on the bleeding edge we only support the latest versions installed together. So latest of all V1, or latest of all V2. V2 is a sea change and a complete rewrite, requiring a converter to move from V1 to V2.
