I want to know what I’m doing wrong. For this reason I have prepared this video of how to modify information in batch, first exporting the publications, then correcting them with open office and then sending them back to import again.

    Video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LXzYFPdUG4dLohDikv3ZSwixUzaQDyUI/view?usp=sharing

First step: we export the publications using the geodirectory export tool.

Second step we open the file with open office. In this example I am going to remove the parentheses that the telephones have in the area code, in a personalized link to send whatsapp.

Third step: I import the file again using the tool to import geodirectory files.
I click on the option that says update existing records.

But I get the following error message:

Array ([error] => Sorry, this type of file is not allowed for security reasons.) X
    What is the problem?

    Hi Giovan,

The error is from a bug in WP but it has been fixed in WP 5.0.3 . If the issue persists, you can install the plugin below for a workaround.

    Thanks Kor for your answer.

I probe with your suggestion and if it exceeds the error.
But now the problem is that only I had to modify 140 post but when uploading the file I get the following message. (As I show it in video two):

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tzAQVBxczenQRpCBR7D2OcXSS40xdRnm/view?usp=sharing

“7585 Article (s) found in total.

7585/7585 item (s) could not be added due to a non-entered or invalid address (city, region, country, latitude, longitude).

7585/7585 item (s) could not be added because the title was left blank or an invalid character type was used. ”

What will be the problem? Did the file change when I saved it? I do not understand what can be past

    Hi Giovan,

Thanks for your reply. Could you share your CSV import here in zip folder and also a WP admin access in private reply so that we could troubleshoot this for you?

    Thanks!

    Hi Timothy,

Thanks for letting us know. If that’s the case, you’ll need to use the https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/ plugin for a temporary workaround.

    Thanks!

    Hi Giovan,

Thanks for your reply. I’ve just checked your CSV file and it’s all wrong. Are you editing the CSV file using the correct application as mentioned here? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/

    Thanks!

    The problem is as follows:

After modifying the cvs file in open office cal and saving it again, the contents of the cells are not saved where they belong, the content is separated and placed in the different columns, making for example that each word of the title of the post appears distrubuido in post author, post title, post cont, etc

As I show you almost at the end of this video:(Please watch the last minute of the video)
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GG2EMPqIVnB8r0eKEiWKJFf70xTFbhIV/view?usp=sharing

That is to say that open office cal does not correctly save all the fields of the original file already corrected.

When you open the file make sure to select “Comma Separated”, as opposed to separated by Space

Thanks Alex. Sorry to take me to answer this post.
Actually that was the detail that was missing, open the file delimited by commas.
However, I leave the video here so you can see how it works in case someone else needs it.
Many thanks to Kor and Alex for their support.
