    Hi GD,

could you please be more precise/consequent about the status of each topic here. Otherwise it is hard to follow and I don’t like to open each topic to check what it the status now.
Stiofan use “Resolved” status from time to time, but not consequent enough. E.g. the topic is already “Resolved”. Could you please us other status like “Open”, “Closed” etc. so if something is not “Resolved” or was just a discussion or a false report, it is much easier to follow this development step.

    Thanks,
    Dirk

    Hi Dirk,

In general i don’t close (mark as resolved) a topic unless the issue is fixed.
If you want to follow things or even add your own issues direct you can look here:
    https://github.com/AyeCode/geodirectory/issues

If you just want to follow progress you can view things here:
    https://github.com/AyeCode/geodirectory/blob/master/change_log.txt

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

maybe I misunderstood what you wrote in the blog.

“Bugs are to be expected and reported here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/forum/geodirectory-core-plugin-forum/v2-beta/#new-post“.

My understanding was that you like to have all bug reports here in the forum. Therefore, during testing or also following the progress of reports for the testers (and we are doing this for free for you) it is good to get indicators about the status.

But what I now understand is, that this is just an esier way for a “normal” user to add a report. I have a github account and can of course add my reports also at the issues page of github if you like. But then the other users are not seen if a bug is already reported and what status it has.

So I think it is not a good idea to have the reports at two different places.

If you like to track it here, I like to have the extensions described above. If not, I will move to github.

    Best,
    Dirk

    Hello Dirk,

Our process is to come back to the forum thread here to post an update once we have one.

You are welcome to post issues here. We are validating them and posting to Github, and reporting back here.

    @alex,

you did not got my point, I guess. The forum with the “Tags” at the beginning is not suitable for me.

    Best,
    Dirk

I am not sure what you mean by your last reply…
Feel free to post on github.

    Thanks,

Okay. I will leave the forum and will post all my findings at github.

    Best,
    Dirk
