Transferring away from shared hosting, but whereto?

    Hi
    My website is currently on a shared hosting plan with namecheap and the website is super slow.
    I have read the GD server requirement documentation and first thought I should move to dedicated hosting but now think it should be cloud hosting?

    I went to the GD recommended hosting company link for Spectrum Technologies Group LLC but their website is half build and I can’t actually get any information on transferring my website to them, which doesn’t give me the confidence to use them.

    So has anyone else moved from shared hosting to either dedicated or cloud hosting and in this process maybe moved to a different hosting company?
    And if so, what hosting company did you move to and was it an easy process? (for a non technical person 🙂
    any suggestions greatly appreciated!

    Hi Laura,

    Thanks for your post. You can choose VPS services with managed hosting too. Choose the average packages and large ones if you’re planning to have a very big directory. Also, please refer to the minimum requirements https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/server-requirements/#minimum
