    Hi,

I can’t find the .po file for the translation of profile pages. How do I translate listings, favorites, etc?

    Thanks,

    Matthijs

Hoi Matthijs. Voor Buddypress zou ik even Buddypress Nederland googelen. Groetjes. Frank

Hi Mattijs, like Franks says, that profile you show is the Buddypress page.
If you use the GD Buddypress plugin, you will need to translate Buddypress and you will also find a language file in the language folder of the GD Buddypress plugin.

    Hi Paolo,

I think I created the wrong folder in the language folder or I gave it the wrong name. I now placed the gdbuddypress-nl_NL.po and .mo (translated) files in wp-content/languages/geodir_buddypress folder. Is this correct or should it be done differently?

    Thx

    Hi,

    it should be wp-content/languages/geodirectory/gdbuddypress/gdbuddypress-nl_NL.mo

The name of the folder and the file are always the same.

Let us know how you went.

    Thanks

Just as an FYI, the name of the folder and the file are not the same in your Docs.

    Thanks YA!

I didn’t even noticed it was added. I’ve edited the doc page.

    Thanks for the heads up!

Most of the translations work after changing the folders name! 🙂

But favorites and listings are still nog translated..

Favorites and listings is in the core translation file.

    Hi Mjj,

I’ve just double checked and apparently there are some issues with this addon translations.

Everything seems to be correct codewise, but it doesn’t work properly on my test install too, so Iv’e asked the developers to test on their side and let us know,

    Thanks

Same here, I guess. Everything is nicely translated (well, I won’t discuss the translation-quality of Buddypress Dutch here), except favorites and listing.

Guust’ comments that it should be in the core seems like a mistake to me because everything is translated there; and from our perspective it seems that the only important translations for us that i can oversee in gdbuddypress are listings and favorites. It seems that we have everything nice placed in correct folders…

Give your developers a High-Five; we can’t wait for their results;-)
