I can not translate Whoop theme. I need to translate it into Spanish but even if I edit the .po and .mo files, I do not recognize the translation.
I hope to receive your help because otherwise it does not help me to have bought the membership.
Thank you. I am looking forward to your response. regardsApril 9, 2018 at 2:21 pm #425597Hi there,
Could you please check if you’ve followed the instructions here correctly? https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-themes/ . If it doesn’t work, tell us what are you trying to translate and we’ll help you further with this.
Thanks!
April 11, 2018 at 8:08 am #425943Hi, thank you for you answer.
I understood the explanation of the post but I have some problem with the translation of the topic so I will continue with my kleo theme.I have already translated the supplements but there are some texts that the translation does not recognize.
I enclose a screenshot of one of the most important texts and the .po file so you can verify that the translation is done.
Thank you
April 11, 2018 at 10:39 am #425966Hi there,
That section of the texts are translation in the “Payments Manager” addon https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/ . Well give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
April 27, 2018 at 9:07 am #428235Hi. I still have problems with the translation of the theme woo and some words of the geodirectory on the web http://www.agendaholistica.es. It must be for some configuration because the .po files are translated.
Please, I hope you give me a good technical service and do not link me to more forum posts because I think I know how it is translated, but there is a concrete problem that I do not know what it is. Thank you.April 27, 2018 at 9:25 am #428238Hello,
We recently had a similar topic come up and found a conflict caused by translation plugins TranslatePress and LocoTranslate. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#translatepress
The symptom in that case was that 1) the files were properly translated and in the right location and 2) the other translation program was installed.
Do check those, and try disabling them to see if the translation is restored.
To me it looks like most of the untranslated strings are coming from the core Geodirectory plugin, which was also the case in the other topic I mentioned.
We can take a look, and disable conflicting plugins if we find them, just write back with a private reply including the detail below:

taking a quick look at FTP, you have two copies of the geodirectory-es_ES.po/mo
remove the old one, and place the one you want to use at:
wp-content/languages/plugins/once you have removed other copies there will be more consistent results with translation of core.
For whoop, place the file in wp-content/languages/themes
the Whoop translation file should be called:
geodirectory_framework-es_ES.mo
Try that and let us know how it goes.

May 2, 2018 at 1:28 pm #428788Hello, I continue with my translation problems.
On the one hand I have translated the Invoicing plugin completely and I do not recognize the invoicing-es_ES file in the path / www / wp-content / plugins / invoicing / languages.
On the other hand in add place it continues to appear in English *title and *description
May 2, 2018 at 1:53 pm #428793Hello,
plugin translations should be placed in:
wp-content/languages/plugins/
for example: wp-content/languages/plugins/invoicing-es_ES.po
Title and Description strings are both in the core plugin.
If the translations are not showing, please verify that you have just one copy of the geodirectory translation file on your server and that it is located in the correct folder.May 3, 2018 at 10:41 am #428911Hi.

thanks
May 3, 2018 at 3:52 pm #428966That looks like BuddyPress, try that plugin.
May 3, 2018 at 4:30 pm #428973I can not find anything in BuddyPress.
I’ve only seen it in Geodirectory but it does not translate, I do not know if it would be an option to reinstall the Geodirectory component again.
The word Event is also not translatedMay 3, 2018 at 5:16 pm #428988Sorry, which strings do you mean, exactly?
Can you send over a URL, and then your site details, too, so we can take a look?
Don’t forget to say which strings exactly. In the attached image I see a BP Profile.
