Translation missing for german language

    Hi,
    if I compare the two language files:

    en_US file (3,067 Strings)

    with the

    de_DE file (2,090 Strings)

    there are about 1,000 Strings missing.

    The English file is from official GeoDirectory download-site and the German file is from:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/translate/projects/geodirectory/de/default/

    For example in review box at the bottom of listing page you can read “Select a rating” or “Enter your location” in map input field or others (see screenshots attached), but I can not find this string in the language file.

    I have tried to copy all English strings into the German file, but it doesn’t work – the GeoDir-Plugin doesn’t use these new strings…

    The developers are still discussing how to handle v2 addon translations.

    Core translations on wp.org live on wp.org, though, and can be ‘autoloaded’ based on language choices in your WP site.
