    Hello,

    Somehow the tranlations that I did in the geodirectory-nl_NL.po have no effect.
    I placed it in the right category but no result. What could the issue be?

    Yes, you can change some slugs by changing the actual page slugs, others in the CPT settings.

    I am trying to change the name for Places in the admin and several other places on the website
    

    Strange thing is that in my development environmet I succeeded to do that through the language file but not in my production site.
    

    What I can see is that the CPT names are different. In the first it is ‘Places’ and that I can translate without problem, in the second it is ‘Hele overzicht’ (based on the dutch translation that I made) Somehow that translation got ‘stuck’ and cannot be translated again through the language files.
