    So, I used the plugin Loco to make some changes to the language files of my site, including the GeoDirectory plugin. Although the language files were all successfully updated on all plugins, GeoDirectory is proving more difficult.

    It seems if I activate GeoDir’s Buddypress integration, then GeoDir’s “Favourites” substitutes BP’s “Favourites”, which is fine. But Im trying to change GeoDirectories’ “Favourites” to “Likes” in Buddypress and its not working.

    I’m also wanting to change GeoDir’s “Reviews” into “Comments” and that too isn’t working.

    Can you direct me in the right direction?

    2. Given the changes I made in the language file, is it safe to go ahead with the 15 updates of your plugins or should I revert to the original language file first?

    1. I think “known issues” should be made available somewhere prominent for all users to avoid delays and problems.

    2. Really, man. I already pay $90+ every 4 months (so its not even mine) and now to change a language file i need to use a paid app??

    Following up from my previous message, I did download Poedit and made changes offline but it didn’t work…

    The poedit is a free software and could you please refer to this section of the documentation as it explains how you can translate GD https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/ . If you’re trying translate GD addons, you need to follow this instructions instead https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/

    If you need further help, please tell me what you’re trying to translate and share WP admin and FTP access to your server.

    Most of those strings can be found on the main po file, the othert don’t exist.

    Translations :
    What am I supposed to do with that?
    make changes, download and upload to my server?
    What about the other language files for the other plugins?
    What about .mo files?

    Buddypress :
    In Buddypress Integration, I added to “Track new listing activity in Buddypress” for all CPTs + “Track new review activity in Buddypress”. But neither show up in activity.

    For Buddypress, are you allowing search engine to index your website (settings >> reading). If not, BuddyPress will not track any activity.

    We’re going around in circles coz I’ve gone thru those links (like 7 hours ago) and posted that the POedit plugin did not change all the language strings I wanted…like 5 hours ago.

    2. I don’t understand what that means. What does search engine tracking have to do with listings showing up in the poster’s activity timeline?
