I migrated my site to a new host and can’t figure out why after updating a few of the places, they are still showing in the search results just fine, however when I click on the link to go to the place’s page a 404 error gets returned. I’ve tried going into permalink and saving them as another setting and then returning it but that didn’t resolve the issue.

I’d be glad to send you credentials to log on if you’d like.

You had about 24 different locations called /dallas-x/ in Texas where x was a number from 3 to 27.
    I merged all of them.
    Please check now.

You may need to review your locations too, for example you have 2 states, called TX and Texas. They will be treated as different states in your system.

    Thanks

oh wow, thank you very much. I did think it was odd that several “Dallas, TX” were popping up in the location search. Can you send me a link to read about where to find that so I can merge any other ones?

Could I ask a second question here? How do I get the “claim listing” add on to work? I went through the instructions and don’t see the same pages on my site as on the instructional screenshots. I would like to activate it on the listings I already have created.

The claimed field is the last field in your list of custom fields, so therefore scroll down to the bottom of your listing data in the backend and you will see it there.

What part can you not get to work?

I did find it on the tabs and brought it over but I don’t know how to make the listing “claimable” to the end user? Do I need to add a short code to the listing for it to show?

You need to add the “GD > Claim Post” widget in the sidebar.
    I have done that.
Please check, it should be on the top of your sidebar of the detail page.

    Thanks
