Hi,
Latest WP and GD Supreme, with only GD plugins.
* On the listing detail page a default banner? featured image? appears under the top menu. I can’t find where to change that image. The image is the faded out map.
* In the Customize screen I can change the Site Title and Tagline, but they don’t show up anywhere that I can find. I would like that information in the HomePage header.
* I have a footer on all the pages except the search results. I would like a footer on that page.
* Just above the footer is a dark bar with an image that I picked. Now I can’t find where to change or delete that image (or the bar).
* Where do I change the Copyright statement in the footer? Found it in Customize, but it is confusing to have to click on “Disable” when I really want to activate my text.
* Do you suggest a particular Contact Form plugin with GD?
July 30, 2016 at 6:26 pm #2372151) if you want to change the default one, simply upload your own featured.jpg in the images forlder of the theme (via FTP).
If you want to change it individually for each listing, just upload images for listings, the 1st will be used as banner. https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/
2) They will appear only if you don’t have a logo image. That’s how it works for all WP themes.
3) That would require a customization. That page is layout is built to have half screen scrollable and have half of the screen is occupied by a fixed map. Thnere is no room for a footer. Like airbnb https://www.airbnb.com/s/new-york?guests=1&ss_id=4hen5mi5&source=bb&s_tag=La9Je-br
4) I’m not sure about this, we’d need to check your website. Please provide a link and admin credentials.
5) Disable footer credits will remove the link in footer to our website and will allow you to customize the text in the field right on top of that option. otherwise you can customize the footer.php file
6) We suggest to avoid plugins whenever you can : https://wpgeodirectory.com/contact-form-7-vs-simple-html-form/
Thanks

4) @giri, can you check this point and let us know?
6) We don’t provide this kind of services, if you are not comfortable with code, I’d suggest to use contact form 7
The develoeprs will let us know about point 4 asap.
Thanks
August 1, 2016 at 3:06 pm #238248Thanks Paolo,
1) I’d like to replace it with something a lot smaller (less height), but if I can’t replace it whenever I want to, then I’d like to remove it.
4) Thank you.
6) Ok.
August 1, 2016 at 3:11 pm #2382534) Its coming from text widget. Please check your footer widget areas
If you can’t find it post your login details
August 1, 2016 at 3:14 pm #2382871) You can add your custom image, you can upload any image to the listings and the 1st will replace the default. You can lower the height with CSS or to remove it use this css:
.single-gd_place .featured-area { display: none; }August 1, 2016 at 4:36 pm #2384221) I tried replacing the featured image with a smaller image, but that image was expanded to fill a predetermined height. Please tell me what to (and how to) change the CSS to allow actual image height, or to reduce default image height.
If this is outside the scope of your support, I understand. Thank you.
August 1, 2016 at 4:40 pm #238424August 1, 2016 at 4:54 pm #238439With this in GeoDirectory >> design >> scripts >> Custom css:
.sd.single.geodir-page .featured-area, .sd.sd-preview .featured-area { height: 65vh; }Change the height value (65vh is 65% of the screen height).
Thanks
