Trying to add London > City of London as Neighbourhood but….

    I am trying to add The city of London as a neighbourhood (district) but it keeps creating a new city instead of leaving it as a neighbourhood and in turn, it is displaying this twice, the city and then it displays the neighbourhood slug.

    It should display as:

    762 Something Street
    City of London
    London
    EC3 WWW
    United Kingdom

    Slug

    Are you using Google for the Map API?
    I was able to set it using OSM. When I add a neighbourhood it is not a city.

    You know to click the + sign next to the city, yes, to ad d a neighbourhood?

    Yes that’s exactly what I am doing, when I add the neighbourhood all is well but when I add a listing and assign the neighbourhood a new city is created.

    I’ve tried a few times.

    I will try again tomorrow and report back.

    I got around it by changing the settings to ‘Enable selected cities’ – this has stopped it from creating additional cities automatically.

    Sorry just to add, once a neighbourhood has been selected admins are not able to change them?

    Yes, it should function just like the region and city fields, except that all values are defined.
