unable to edit listing after it's published

    Hi, I’m testing my site on the listings side and I seem to be unable to edit the listing once published. I published the listing, signed out then signed back in again to ad a special offer but the edit listing page did not retain any of the information of the published listing.

    The businesses who are going to use this site will need to be able to edit their listings from time to time to add special offers etc.
    I have disabled the non GD plugins but it still hasn’t worked. Can you suggest a fix please?

    Thanks but even when I am signed in as kim fox it takes me to the listing but when I click on edit all the data has disappeared from the form and I have to start over again. I hoped that if I was signed in and went directly to my listing it would allow me to add a speacial offer to the listing without filling it all in again.

    Maybe I have set it up incorrectly but I can’t think how to change it. Any suggestions please?

    You did add the [gd_add_listing] shortcode to the Add Listing page. I deleted it now, please check.

    See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#add-listing

    Do not add this shortcode to the Add Listing page selected at GD > Permalinks > GeoDirectory Pages > Add Listing page.
    That page is reserved for GD generated pages, so only add this shortcode to any extra WP pages.
