    Hi,
I developed and tested some template files on a test environment on a shared hosting environemnt and everything worked fine. I am now setting up the staging version on WPEngine . But the template files are not being picked up, they are in the child theme directory under geodirectory as per the test environment.

I have asked WPEngine about this and they said came up with this error below.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function do_action() in /nas/content/staging/wmsgroup/wp-content/themes/udesign-child-theme/geodirectory/listing-listview.php on line 25

    Any thoughts please.
    many thanks
    Helen

    Hi Helen,

The “do_action” function is included in WordPress its self so that error is a bit confusing, i could only imagine accessing the file direct would throw that error as WordPress would not be loaded.

Things i would do to check:
#1 check that theme is actually active
#2 try editing that file to just have “echo ‘###’;” in it, if that shows on the GD listing page then u know it’s being called.

If not you can post wp-admin and FTP info here and we will take a look.

    Thank,

    Stiofan
