Is there a way to automatically unpublish or delete events that have passed their event date? I know it can be done manually, but can it be automated at all?

We have a task to look at adding options for un-publishing events automatically X days after they pass the end date, but right now this would require a customization.

Have you considered making the package term shorter?

We have considered it, but right now we have a free event package, and some of the events on it are recurring events that may happen every week for the next year or more. We want those to be able to stay on there as recurring events, but have one time events expire after they pass their event date. In the meantime we can manually delete them, but it would be a handy feature.

OK, yes, recurring events, well, I might disable those too 🙂

I have made a note for the developers and they will take another look at the idea.

    Hi Will,

This requires to run cron jobs(once in a day) to check event date and unpublish events with past dates. We have already created a task and will implement in future.
