up to date maps

    Hi there

    new to GEO how do we get access to up to date google maps? I lost a client today who couldnt up load his business as he lived in a new street which is a year old?

    All maps are as up-to-date as Google provides them.
    Is the address available at https://www.google.com/maps/ ?

    Would you happen to have the address for us to check?

    12 Janssen St, Ropes Crossing NSW 2760 Australia.

    Also is there a way in which we can edit the name of the default Place categorie to Business without having to do a custom business categorie?

    Hi Glenn, that address is not even at https://www.google.com.au/maps yet …

    But you could just drag the marker to the correct spot, and add the street address as “12 Janssen Street”

    GD > Design > Map tab > Select Maps API > Load OpenStreetMap API
