Update directory database

    Hi,
    for a few days now there is a note in the backend that my geodirectory database needs and update and that I shall run the updater.

    The fact that it is strongly recommended to run a backup before, just makes me a bit cautious. Is everything going to be okay and smooth with and after the update, or must I expect changes in the frontend, differences in functionality, etc.?
    (I remember the change vom GDV1 to GDV2 gave me a bit of a hard time, so I am just asking.)
