update of addons failed

    hi..
    i tried to update geodirectory and there are no problem
    but when i try to update addons from dashboard doesn’t connect with you web .. even if i have right the username and pasword in updates in geodirectory..
    then all web is falling…!!
    how can i install the new version of addons not from the dasboard…?? and why doesn’t connect rightly .. if i have the username and the password ok?

    Hello, you can download the files and upload the zip from the WordPress backend, in the plugin section.
    First you need to delete the “old” plugin.

    ok… i can delete the old plugin without problem but what about the dates and the configuratin? they will be updated automatically?
