Updating all posts images with placeholder

    Whats the best way to update all the images for posts that have none. I would like to implement a placeholder image for any posts that have no images. I tried to use the upload tool to update posts, but it seemed to create duplicates creating me a huge head ache and making me have to redo my entire database of 50,000 listings. Maybe I did something wrong, but I used the orginal file I used to upload the listings and reuploaded it with the ones with blank images using the placeholder. Do I need to Export the listings first, then use that file with the listing ID’s created by the system?

    Hi,

    you can add a place holder for all listings without images in GeoDirectory > Design > Listings > Upload listing no image.

    Or add a default image for each listing category. Both will only be used as thumbs in widgets, listings and search pages. Not on detail pages.

    If you want to udpate via CSV file, make sure to enable > Update listing if post with post_id already exists.
