Updating Database

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    I am about to update my database. (GeoDirectory data update – We need to update your directory database to the latest version.) My site is backed up daily by my host. Is there anything else that needs to be done. I only ask because of the extra caution that is mentioned before I actually perform update.
