Upload huge video-files directly to i.e. vimeo

    Dear ladies and gentlemen,
    currently GD does not recommend to upload bigger files than 10MB to WP. That makes sense and is fine. But how should it be solved, if the user should have the possibility to upload a short movie (~100MB) but doesn’t have a youtube or vimeo link for it? May it be possible to directly link the upload field for videos to our existing vimeo account? I just found sth on it to upload and embed videos directly in the content field but don’t know if this would also work with the GD upload field for videos: https://www.test4u.eu/de/WP-Vimeo-Video-Upload-Plugin
    Do you have some suggestions on this topic, how this could be solved?
