Upload images using Media Library and export listings

    Hi,

    Two questions please:

    1) We are adding our listings and we already have the images in our Media Library and it doesnt make sense to upload them all again.

    Is there any way on add listing to select images from Media File.

    2) When adding a custom post type it has an option Export where can we export the listings?

    Hello, to link an image to a new listing you can import a csv (documentation here ). In the image field you should write the filename (e.g. image.jpg) and the image should be in wp-content/upload/2014/08 (because we are in august).

    Thanks for the quick response. We have another issues we want to display the map on a separate page called “Map”. Currently we are using the page /location/ but I am trying to add content to the location page using:

    geodir-location.php

    But its not letting me when I add actions or text the page becomes blank. If there anyway of using the widget in our template page?

    Hi Mal, you can use the location page redirecting the permalink in the Geodirectory option (Geodirectory/Permalinks/Location url prefix), so, for example, if you set it to “map” when you will go to yourdomain/map you’ll see the GD map and widgets

    I have changed to Map but how do I edit the page and add text to it or widgets?

    You can use the widget area such as GD Top section or GD content GD right sidebar etc

    Do you want the drop down menu for the location (country region city ) in the menu bar? Or maybe i didn’t get what you mean.. 🙂
