    Hi all,

    i have a large DB with description in various language for each listing.

    Have i to create a single file for each language? (so one file for all the listing in English, one file for all the listing in Deutsch and so on)?

    hi, no, you have to upload the listing once, and then you should translate them from backend

    ok, let me understand… tell me if the following reasoning is correct…:

    – In a file i have 300 Listing with the description translated in 7 languages.
    – I create a csv file with all the english Listing.
    – I upload it
    – And then i translate from backend 300 listing X 6 Language = 1800 manual enters in the Database?

    Am i correct?

    Yes.
    If you will upload the csv, one per each translation, you will have 8 distinct copies of the same listings

    Many thanks for your interesting in this problem.
    That would be gloryful if there would be the possibility to insert for each translated listing the following arguments in the csv file:

    Title
    Description
    Region
    City

    Hi all,
    i’m very sorry to bother you with these problems but for me are very important. I think there should be a serious danger for my work position if i can’t manage to upload the Listings on the geodirectory platform in various language.
    I hope you didn’t forget to le me know how this issue is proceeding…
    I think you can easily understand that in these days my work is all about fixing these problems and i need dramatically some answers/solutions for this blocking problems. As you can see (by the link) i’m seeking not only in this forum for answers and info (i tried to solve others open bugs).

    Hi,

    we are doing our best too.

    WPML had to create a specific addon to allow importing woocommerce products in multi language.

    Having such deep integration is more than just a compatibility between the 2 plugins.

    We are going above and beyond to help you, but you will have to be patient.

    We have many other tasks to work on and there are only 24 hrs in each day.

    We added this and will be in next version:

    Import Export is not compatible with WPML – FIXED

    Export Categories:
    When exporting new column will be added in csv ‘cat_language’ to export csv file.
    Import Categories:
    It creates/updates category based on cat_language value.

    cat_language must be have language code value like EN or en

    Export Posts:
    When exporting new columns ‘language’ && ‘original_post_id’ to export csv file.
    Import Posts:
    It creates/updates post based on language & original_post_id values.

    language must be have language code value like EN or en

    Just some questions abot this good change:

    1- have i to create multiple file?
    2- if yes, how i code the same listing?

    for example i have a listing (uffizi) in 5 multiple languages: it en fr de sp.
    have i to create a file for it (with language column “it”), one for en one for fr and so on?

    If it’s correct, how can i specify that “galleria degli uffizi” is the same of “uffizi gallery” in english?

    3- when will it be updated?
