Uploading Theme for the 1st time

    Good afternoon all.
    Perhaps it is just me so apologies in advance,,
    When I try to install the theme and child theme I receive the following message
    The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
    Any ideas or thoughts most welcome.
