    Hi guys,

    After I updated to 4.9, it seems as if the drag-and-drop feature on the GD listings isn’t functioning now. Instead it wants to open the image in the window, leaving the listing edit page.

    Is anyone else having this issue?

    Hello!

    Interesting. It still seems to work as a drag and drop, but something is interfering with how the functionality is styled.

    A couple things you could try: Identify and disable the plugin causing the console socket errors. Pinghub? (error: WebSocket connection to ‘wss://public-api.wordpress.com/pinghub/wpcom/me/newest-note-data’ failed: Error during WebSocket handshake: Unexpected response code: 403)

    Non-GD: Try deactivating other non-GD plugins.

    GD Booster: The page appears to be utilizing GD Booster. Disable it and see if the problem persists.

    Let us know what you find out

    Pinghub is apparently Jetpack; disabled. => didn’t fix it
    GD Booster disabled. => didn’t fix it
    Disabled all 20 non-GD plugins => didn’t fix it

    Even disabling the GD Booster plugin altogether doesn’t help.

    Next step?

    Hello,

    We can check into this further on Monday. Please keep the credentials active until then and we will take a look to see if we can find the styling conflict.
