Use only event

Hello,

I would liked to use only Events CPT, could you please tell me where to specify default searching criteria to “Events” (search field in main page, map display, “listing” and “add listing” menu, … everywhere where “places” is the default criteria). And if it is possible to totally deactivate places ?

I also noticed that when I use the search engine (“events” => all) there are no results even if there are records (see at servezvous.fr ), what should I do to find theses records ?

I have a last small question, the link “new user. Register now” on the main page (appears twice) is broken, where should I modify it to have an existing theme registering page ?
