    Hi there,

I’m testing out my website with the first official users. I came across some errors I would like to discuss.

    – Once a user registers and receives the activation link per mail, they have to fill in an activation key. I don’t even know where to find such a key, let alone the users haha. Is there a way to skip the activation key part? I would like the user to active their account by clicking on the email link only.

    – I have created a new CPT called “Services”. Within this CPT, I’ve created a Multi-Select for the new users to fill in. However, the user is not able to tick boxes at the moment. Instead, all options are included on the detail page, which is not the point of the Multi-Select. I’ve included a picture to illustrate my point. (Please don’t be offended by the language on the pictures, its an erotic website)

    – With the dummy listing ‘Village Whiskey’ (part of the CPT ‘Places’) I’m able to translate the listing. However, within my own CPT ‘Services’ I’m not able to translate (See other 2 pictures)

I hope you are able to help me and I would like to wish you a pleasant weekend in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Arwin

    Hi,

Once a user registers and receives the activation link per mail, they have to fill in an activation key

this must caused by another plugin, because GeoDirectory doesn’t require user activation after registration.

For the multiselect problem we need to check your settings, please provide a link and admin credentials.

There are WPML setting that need to be enabled for each new CPT.

    Let us know,

    Thank you

Multiselect field cannot handle the & symbol, sorry to say. I have altered the entry and it works now. (Changed & to and).

    Hello,

    1. I cannot see the cat selector. WHere is it showing up?
I think you must mean the CPT selector, for places or services? If you are only using services, delete all the place listings and then the selector will go away. Make sure to remove place from the trash, too.

    2. I have flagged this for the accounting folks to let you know if the previous invoices can be re-addressed. Did you already update your address in your account?

If you edit your address here https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/profile/

You should be able to download updated invoices from here https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/purchase-history/

Let us know how it goes.

    Thank you

Thanks again for the very swift responses guys, really appreciate it.

Looking at my profile page, I don’t see a VAT input field.

Would it be possible for me to add my VAT ID as well?

    Hi Arwin,

The VAT info needs to be added at checkout.
If you can provide it in a private reply (company name and VAT ID) then i will manually add it.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

I have added the vat info to the invoice, however we have already submitted and paid the EU VAT for this invoice, you would need to claim it back off your government.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
