User Permission Issue (Editor user type)

    Hi, we have noticed that while using the GEO plugin no other user type but the Admin only can access the wp-admin screen. But we need some of our ‘Editor’ user type be able to access the WP backend to perform some tasks in our site.

    GD > General > Allow user to see wp-admin area > Yes

    Yep, that worked! But now even subscribers also can see the wp-admin. Is there a way to block them only? The rest, I mean Editor etc. users should be able to see the wp-admin. Plz let us know … Thanx.

    Hi Mical,

    You can choose the role to restrict the WP admin with the option here shown in the attached image.

    The option Kor shows is for GD V2. In V2 you have a lot more control over who can access the backend.

    But even if subscribers have access to /wp-admin, there is nothing to see or do for them, so it should not be a problem.
