v1 to v2 issues

    hello guys,

    Vlad from thebeautyadviser.com here. I want to start the conversion from v1 to v2. For this I wanted to acces my staging website. Dozens of times I have tried, it says that it can’t acces my staging website because my site is experiencing technical difficulties. I spoke with my hosting support, they said that a plugin is causing this – couldn’t say which one.

    I also ran a site health test with the health check and troubleshooting plugin, and ran into these critical issues – please see screenshot attached – I talked to the support team from my web services provider, they again said it is related to one of my plugins.

    Then I have received a notice from wordpress that it caught an error with GD Booster – see screenshot attached.

    Can you help please?

    Hi Vlad Chirila,

    Thanks for your post. Gd Booster plugin is not supported in GDv2. Could you share both WP and FTP access here in private reply so that we could check this out for you?

    Hi Vlad,

    Try disabling all the plugins on the staging site via FTP to see if you can then login.

    You can do that by making a new folder inside plugins called “_disabled”, then drag all your plugins there.

    Hi Alex,

    I did that; it now works.

    Having this issue, can you give me any suggestions on what to do next regarding activation of the plugins in the wp-admin on staging website? So I can prepare for conversion.
