I am converting from GD v1 to v2. I followed the instructions at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/upgrade-from-gdv1/ and downloaded the files from my subscriptions account at https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/

I ran the GD v1 to v2 conversion tool in WP admin and it shows that all plugins are active. Now, in WP admin Plugins page, I see the following message for all of the v2 plugins:

This plugin requires a valid licence key to enable automatic updates.

Could you tell me what went wrong? Awaiting help.

    Thanks

    Hi serendipity,

Thanks for your post. Could you try deactivating and activating the license key and see if it fixes the issue you had there? If you’re not sure, you can share your Website WP admin access here in private reply and we’ll check on it.

    Thanks!

When the URL of the site changes, the licenses must be reactived at the new domain to enable autoupdates: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/installing-addons/#url-change

I have fixed the 500 error, this was due to a missing depreceted function in the v1 of the theme, this was fixed in the last release of GDv2.

I do not know if u have any customisations in the themes, if not just update them and you should be good.

Licences use the slug of the addon plugin folder when activating, they also use the site url, if either of these change then you need to deactivate and then reactivate the licence.

If there is anything else just let us know.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
