    HI Guys
Working to integrate V2 with Kadence themes, which we use most often.
-how do I disable the “read more” windowpane and just make it a “learn more” click. Id rather have a button or link at the bottom that does not reveal.

The reveal is fancy, but its not a good bell and whistle for usability here. Just need to make sure that they click to the listing page, not reveal so it pushes all the widget listings down the page.

IF you are using the widgets in the sidebar too.

GDV2 version 20049 introduced a new element called GD Post Content
With that you can manage the display of post_content and other text area fields, as well as re-labeling the read more link.

Edit your archive item template and replace post_meta key’post_content’ with the new GD Post Content element.

Give it a try and let us know

GDV2 uses WP Pages as templates.

The Archive Item template controls what data shows up in the ‘mini listings’ that show on archive pages and with shortcodes.

You can always find a shortcode editor in the Tabs UI
CPT (Places) – Settings – Tabs
Open that up and add a shortcode field to see a shortcode builder button. You can copy and paste shortcodes that way.

Every shortcode is available as a widget. With siteorigin we recommend you use widgets. Select a GD Post Content widget and adjust the settings.

To see how page templates work please watch the video here:

Ok so everything is available as a widget, and we can use the widget in siteorigin. That’s good I’ll do that.
