Hi , im using PM along with WP invoicing.
When i select a free package and submit, or claim using a free listing, the checkout page loads with price = 0, this is fine.
On clicking the submit, and before checkout loads, there is a messsage saying “You have to make a payment to claim this listing” or something similar. Where/ how can i change that message, as it is disturbing to a customer who has selected a free listing.
Im not sure if this is a part of PM or WPI,but im sure you can help at either end.
thanks,

There is no filter available for now so you can just modify it using translation file or by modifying core file(not recommended and will be override by next update). I have added the task for this and will work on that asap.

PatrikMarch 26, 2019 at 6:00 pm #476537I’ll chime in that I’m seeing the same message. It’s not a critical problem, but it is the kind of bug that will make people stop claiming the listing since they think “Wait a minute! You said this was free!”
So I hope it’s fixed or clarified soon. Thanks!

This has been implemented. There will be no checkout required for free claim. Messages displayed are also updated.
It will be in next version of Pricing Manager v2.5.0.9 & Claim Listings v2.0.0.8 plugins.

KiranApril 19, 2019 at 2:19 pm #481798Hi Kiran
So I just checked this – on claiming a listing , with free package, this messaging is now not there, so it seems to be fine.
However, i just noticed another change in the claim working. Earlier, after a claim was approved, i could set the status to go to “Pending” – i think either there was a separate field setting in the ‘Packages’ page, or the paid listings setting itself (which i have set to Pending) was having the same effect on claims also – ie when a claim was approved, the author would change, however the listing would be in pending state.
Now i am finding that after approval of claim the listing is remaining in published state.
How can i put the listing status into pending/draft automatically after approval of claim, as was happening earlier? This is required to provide the new author (business) a window , also force them to review the information accuracy/completeness and then submit the changes.
thanks, Vivek
April 19, 2019 at 2:29 pm #481801Just looked at another earlier post which confirm that earlier with setting of “pending” after payment, was also getting applied to claims – as even free claim was going thru payment hence the messaging issue in this post.

But now the change made to fix the messaging, seeems to have affected the post status after claim (whether paid or free)
April 19, 2019 at 3:40 pm #481808That’s right. Claim status changes are not supported at this time.
If the claim happens at the same time as the payment, then paid listing status will take effect.

And which payment gateway are you using?
Which package are you testing?
Thanks for any more info you can provide so we can recreate.April 21, 2019 at 1:41 pm #481997This reply has been marked as private.April 22, 2019 at 1:11 pm #482119This reply has been marked as private. -
