    Hi guys,

So I’m building a directory section for a client, but a lot of fields in the GeoDirectory admin are not displaying properly, so there’s no way of making a selection.
Also extra fields can’t be added to the GeoDirectory post types.
The front-end display works and looks fine it’s just the admin panel that doesn’t work well.

    Is this a known issue?
Do you guys have a workaround for this?

    Thanks!

Can you de-activate your non-GD plugins one by one, you’ll find one of them is the problem.

Yes, that is definitely a conflict with anouther plugin, if you can’t find which one, please share a link and admin credentials and we will have a look.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I would start by deleting all inactive plugins. After that ask the client if you can place the website in maintanance mode for 1 minute and deactivate all non GD plugins momentarely to see if the problem goes away. Also the theme could be responsible for this (unless it is one of our themes).

If deactivating all non GD plugins the problem disappears, you can reactivate plugins one by one and refresh the page that was causing the issue, until the problem comes back, which will let us know which plugin is causing this error and in that case we might be able to provide a solution.

    Thank you

    Hi guys,

So I tried a lot of stuff, but the client doesn’t allow deleting some plugins.
Do you guys want to take a look?

    🙂

De-activating plugins should not lead to any problems.
We would need to do the same thing, to find the conflict.
De-activating one at the time (not deleting) should not really interfere with a live site too much.

    Hi,

if your customer doesn’t want to do testing there isn’t much we can do.

The best thing however would be to have a staging server were you test everything new, before moving it into a live website.

So that you can do all the tests needed.

    Thanks
