    Hi,

    I want to remove the geolocate popup. I read in this forum here that the settings are inside GeoDirectory >> Advanced Search >> Ask user if they wish to be geolocated. , but I cant find any such settings. I have purchased and installed Advanced Search add on too.

    Secondly, When I add a listing, it forces me to choose a address within my base city only. See https://screencast.com/t/5wMmDpRNXR

    Why is this ? I want to allow anybody from the entire US to post their listings.

    Hi,

    we’d need to have a look at your website backend to answer question n1. Please share a link and admin credentials in a private reply.

    For the second question, you must install the Location Manager to extend the directory beyond the default location.

    Hi,

    I believe the 1st problem is caused by caching, I asked to our developers to have a look and let you know.

    You don’t need to add all cities and states of a country, that would create thousands of blank pages on your website.

    Regions and cities are automatically created when adding new listings for cities that are not on the database yet.

    All your problems are solved if you switch to Directory starter theme, or infact any other theme. Your current theme is very badly coded or has been edited very poorly and is broken, it is doing things like calling the footer scripts twice.
