    I’ve been struggling with the video embed field on the GeoDirectory for a few days now, every time I try to embed a video the listings page comes out blank, but if i put any other text on the embed section it shows just fine… Anybody having similar problems?… Can anybody help?

    The website is http://spark.deals

    One of the embed codes I’ve tried:

    I can’t recreate this in any of my test websites.

    hi,

    you have the payment manager installed, but out of date compared to the core plugin.

    That’s probably the cause. You should use the username that bought the add-on to request support though, as a free users, you shouldn’t have any premium add-on installed.

    Actually this happened even with the payment plugin off (I’ve already tried turning off every plugin for testing purposes), if I can’t get support with the plugin installed I can uninstall it, is that OK?… If not I’ll let the client know so he can give me his access and I’ll get back to you guys.

    Hi,

    even deactivating all other plugins the problem persist. There must be a security settings not allowing iframes in your server, because it works if I enter plain text in the video field.

    Probably mod_security, please ask to your hosting provider and in case have it disabled.

    p.s. you should really ask to your client to provide credentials to ask for support if premium products are installed.

    It doesn’t seems like an unreasonable policy to ask users to demonstrate that they have a licence for what we sell.

    the user you just used, doesn’t have any purchase history as well.

    I double checked and you have a 3rd user:

    Username : bartberry2 (I changed it was admin which we prefer to keep free, never thought someone would pick it as username to register on someone else’s site)

    Please only use this user for support.

    Agreed it must be a server security rule, f iframe is posted it throws a 403 forbidden header. Please ask your host to resolve. ON a side note if you just enter the url of the video it will not show in the preview but will show in the main listing video tab.
