    Hi Folks
Just asking the forum – if I’m scraping just the NAP from Google/yahoo, I believe we can safely publish that because it’s generally in the public domain.

But Not the website, email, or image or ANYTHING else. I can leave them alone.

We’re just seeding the listings for the sales team, so NAP is sufficient to create a simple listing that can be claimed and expanded.

    Any advice here?

You can scrape everything, except copyrighted content.

Name, address, phone number, website URL and everything that is public domain, it can be scraped.

Avoid pictures and descriptions and you’ll be fine. Also, make sure to use proxies to scrape or they can blacklist your IP.

    Thanks

Hi Paolo! I was always told you can scrape the NAP, name address phone. seemed to be the legal term for it.

Ok I didn’t know and I couldn’t find anything that would make sense in this list:

    Thanks for letting me know
