Webhooks issue

    When I installed and activated the Stripe addon, the default Webhook URL in the Payments tab for Stripe was: https://localsweepstakes.com/sponsor-info/?pay_action=ipn&pmethod=stripe
    I initailly created an end point in Stripe with this URL. When I tested the payment went through, but it returned to that URL and displayed the payment status at the bottom of the page.

    sponsor-info is a page on my site and should not be related to payment status. I tried to update the URL in the Geodirectory WebHooks URL and Stripe end point – tried both:
    https://localsweepstakes.com/?pay_action=ipn&pmethod=stripe
    and
    https://localsweepstakes.com/gd-info/?pay_action=ipn&pmethod=stripe

    still came back to the same sponsor-info page. Then I tried changing the name of the page to sponsor-information
    now after a test payment is processed, it redirects to https://localsweepstakes.com/sponsor-information/?pay_action=success&inv=21&pmethod=stripe&pid=190

    Why is it doing this?

    Hi John,

    The setting in the GD settings does nothing, it is only to show you what webhook to add to stripe, the proper url should be the GD-info page, you set this in GD>permalinks>info page, this is the url that should be used in the stripe settings on stripe.com

    ah ok, that makes sense. I updated that page in GD>permalinks and it works as expected now.
    Will test subscriptions next.
