    Help!

Please look at my site, it’s showing all sorts of funny stuff in the url when I click on a cpt link!

Will post in private message below, want to cut down on the links to the site from non related sites.

    Thanks

    Sally

    Hi,

It seems that u have deleted a default page called ‘Location’ created during GD installation ?

I need phpmyadmin database access to fix this.
    Please advise ?

    Thanks

    Hi,

I checked and found that page_id = 1787 , is ur location page and u changed it’s slug to dogfriendly, which created problem. I changed it back to location.

    Please advise ?

Strange, not sure how I did that…

I did change the Location url prefix to dogfriendly in the permalinks settings, but that was right back when I first installed geodirectory to avoid a conflict issue with another directory plugin I had running at the time. Don’t think I changed anything recently, but I must have done something I guess, anyway all seems to be working ok now, so thank you!

Everything just began working again, then it all went back to saying no listings available. This seems very strange to me…

You do not have a category Accommodation > Hotels > Cottages
You only have Accommodation > Cottages
    See /accommodation/dog-friendly-holiday-cottages-self-catering-uk-europe/

If you change slugs and structure of your categories and posts, you have to go to WP > Settings > permalinks and click Save. Otherwise your database does not know you changed the slugs.

    Hi Guust

I’ve not changed any slugs though, I really don’t understand what’s happening here.

I’ve tried clicking save and it’s not made any difference. My whole directory appears to be down. I don’t want to have Accommodation > Hotels > Cottages, I want Accommodation > Cottages and Accommodation > Hotels

All I’m trying to do right now is manually set my menu bar so it can drop down the categories of the cpt, and it seemed to be fine at first, but now everythings broken. I’m not changing any slugs at all though so why is it doing this?
