    Hi Guys,

This is related to my previous post:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/new-template-issues/

Essentially, I want to customize the top header section on the listing detail page. I have found that that file that controls this is located here:
    supreme-directory > template-parts > header > header-single-top.php

I can make changes directly to this file, such as removing the user avatar since we don’t need it. However, won’t this file be replaced when the Supreme Directory theme is updated in the future? How or where should I save these changes so that they are not replaced in the future?

    Hi TLN,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, Supreme Directory is a child theme. Any changes you made on the child theme will be replaced every time you update it. Maybe you can note the changes you made and reapply the changes everytime you update it.

    Thanks
