What themes work well with this plugin

    Just curious if anyone has had luck with certain themes to use with the GeoDirectory plugin. I like the geodirectory theme – but I’d love to find something with widget areas in the footer.

    The GD framework supports up to 4 footer colums, so plenty of room for widgets.
    The plugin also should work with any other theme, some with a few tweaks, some straigt out of the box. Search for “theme” in the forum and you should find quite a few references.

    but I don’t have any widget areas for the footer. Is this something I need to turn on?

    Yes,

    go to GDF Options >> Footer Styling options >> Enable footer widget areas
