which fields are searchable ?

    i’d like to help my listers by telling them which fields are searchable

    is it title, short descrip (excerpt?), long descrip ?

    are street addresses searchable (not just for maps but if you search for a street named New York Street, then if someone searches for New York that perhaps that listing is returned too?)

    what about categories?

    what about images titles, alt text?

    if i can know all the searchable fields, i can tell my listers and this could help them with what content they provide

    hi,

    the “search for” field searches in Title, Descritpion and Taxonomies (Tags and Categories).

    The Near field is to be used for street, zip, city name or wider location name such as region/state or country.

    All custom fields can be filtered too via advance search filters if setup. User has to click on customize my search and refine his search through available filters.
