I was notified of an theme update available. After I installed the update, my theme was changed to Whoop! I never downloaded Whoop. How do I get my website back to the theme I had before the update?

    Hi,

I’m really sorry about that, please read here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/update-messed-up-css-seems-to-have-change-themes/page/2/#post-235504

Let us know if you need help, in that case please provide FTP credentials.

    Thanks

Those don’t seem to be FTP credentials, WP admin unfortunately is not enough in this case…

    Let us know,

    Thanks

Within your GoDaddy control panel you should be able to find or create new FTP credentials.

FTP means “File Transfer Protocol” and it’s the means used to upload and download files from your computer to your server.

If you ask to GoDaddy for support, they should be able to provide you with this information.

otherwise we could try forcing the update with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/

However the wp admin username and password provided are not working, so I cannot try for you.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

I switched files via FTP and I see all pages correctly except for the home page. But that I think it is due to cache.

Please clear the GD Booster cache and everything should go back to normal.

    Let us know,

    Thanks
