    What are the main advantages or reasons for using the Whoop theme compared to a basic GD theme? A comparison would be helpful. I’ve tried both but am not keen on some aspects of Whoop visually. I’ve only used GD till now but am using Whoop on a new large project I’ve been working on. (I know it’s like Yelp.)

    Can I use BuddyPress with both?

    BuddyPress Legacy profile styles are supported on all of our themes.

    We don’t recommend any particular themes, but if the GD themes don’t meet your needs, feel free to try a free or even a premium third party theme.

    GDV2 is especially designed to work with any theme.
