    Hello!

I have been testing both WP 5.0 and GD V2 and to be quite honest, I have put it all on the backburner and I am focusing on my current set up for the near future because of all the uncertainties surrounding Guttenberg. GD V2 seems to be quite stable and I like it quite a bit. It is a step up from V1 for sure but dealing with upgrades on both fronts is a bit daunting for a non-developer like me. How much testing have you been doing with the latest release candidates of WordPress both with V1 and V2? In your opinion, has the integration been smooth? Will it affect your release schedule of GD and its plugins?

We have tested with WP5 and Gutenberg, everything works.

Don’t let fearmongers scare you. V2 is 99.9% ready for production. We are dealing with small tweaks only.

WP 5 will be ready for production when released, if you don’t feel like starting to use Gutenberg, just install the classic editor plugin before doing the upgrade.

Stuff will mostly remain as is.

    Thanks

Going with the classic editor is my plan but I will hold off on updating my dev site until WP version 5.1.
