wp-comments-post.php not working, error 405

    Hi there,

    this problem has occured only yesterday: Posting reviews is not possible anymore. Whenever you press the button “submit” after having written the review, you will see a page saying that this page does not show up because the wp-comments-post.php is not working properly due to error 405.

    I have tried to find a solution in several forums but any response or possible solution exceeds my understanding of what is happening there. Could one of you guys help me with this – nice and simple ;-)?

    That would be great!

    Hi Birgit,

    I’ve just Googled it and it looks like an “Error 405” is a server related issue. Could you please contact your host about this? Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Kor,
    thank you for the hint. Just when I had the host on the phone the problem was gone – and still is.
    Like magic 😉
    Good to know that should this error come back, I must get in touch with my host first.
