Hi! I just installed GeoDirectory V2 and when activated in the wp-admin sidebar I cannot access Plugins or Customize. The browser starts to load the right page but then jumps to boatbuddy.site.
When I first activated I did get the settings panels and I did make changes in the restrict wp-admin access window. But I am obviously an administrator user, that option was not even there. But maybe there is a bug there?
Any suggestion what to do now? WP can’t help, already talked to their support.January 16, 2019 at 1:59 pm #463518Hello,
Are you installing on your production/live site?
If you are having trouble right away then by all means use FTP to delete the plugin.Once you have done that all your functionality should be restored.
You can then download a fresh copy from here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/try-geodirectory-v2/
Can you make a staging/test/clone/copy site where you can try the installation?
Please reply with WP Admin credentials and FTP info if you would like us to check on it.
January 16, 2019 at 2:15 pm #463523And make sure you use Directory Starter directory-starter-2.0.0.4 and Supreme supreme-directory-2.0.0.2-rc.
You are using V2 plugins so you should use V2 GD themes. ThanksJanuary 18, 2019 at 9:39 am #463887Hi, is anybody going to react to this post. The only answer I got was a question showing that you did not even read my post properly. I have now lost three working days without getting any useful answer.

Thanks
January 18, 2019 at 10:01 am #463894Hi Alex,
Thanks for your reply. This isn’t a known issue and we would need your WP admin access in private reply to troubleshoot this further. Could you please provide that?
Thanks!

If your site does not have FTP, then, instead of backing up the GDV1 plugins they will need to be deleted before the GDV2 addons can be uploaded.
Do not forget to update your themes, if you are using a GD theme called Directory Starter or Supreme.
There are lots of changes with GDV2, so, it can be good to perform the changes on a staging site first.

This is like in the image above. When you select “IN” the search will ONLY show listings that are “IN” the exact same location that you have chosen.
Near search works ‘across’ locations, and uses the center of the location, and so might include listings up to 125 miles as shown in your near search choice.
January 29, 2019 at 8:48 pm #466097You can read more about this on this page:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/Don’t forget you will also need to upgrade your themes to V2+

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/troubleshooting/#errorYou can setup debugging and you should see immediately which plugin or theme is causing the issue.
