WP GEO – Buddypress

    Guys,

    I’m not sure about the reason why this happens, but maybe you’ve gotten some signals from others as well.
    It seems that since we’ve updated our staging (where we test it) to the current version 1.4.4 it appears to be not possible anymore for users to add new groups in buddypress, and that highlighted words like groupnames are not clickable anymore.

    It did work before, but I don’t know what version of wpgeo we used by then: it was earlier than 1.4.3

    we’re using the WPGEO Modern child theme.

    Any ideas on this? If you like inlogdetails, please feel free to ask!

    Hi,

    In Buddypress, groups can only be created from the group page, not from within a profile page, you can verify this by disabling GD and the GD x BP integration or by checking on any Buddypress demo like this: http://demo.buddyboss.com/boss/members/guest/groups/ user: guest / pass: guest

    thanks for the reply. you are right. and thats the problem. the create group tab is missing from the groups page when clicked in the user profile. thanks
