WPALLimport not importing correctly categories

    I was trying to use WPallimport.
    I have:
    – GD wpallimport installed

    When importing:
    I was trying to match field with category to category field in GD addon fields, and also in another import, in the standard wpallimport taxonomies tab.
    I was using both variations: category ID and category name.

    When I was using: category name, matched with taxonomy tab, I can see the category in wordpress backend on the places list.
    but when I go to the place listing, I can’t see any category

    Also in the database I can see NULL, as presented in the attachment

    Make sure you are importing the ID of the category.

    You are using the category text. Try using the category ID.

    Try saving the file as a CSV with OpenOffice or LibreOffice so you can attach it here. Even better, as a CSV and then zip it.

    You can see the format for the category field by exporting a test listing with one or more categories. They are listed like ,5,6,7, with each being the ID of a category.

    Success.
    But not full success
    using file that I have created with libreoffic and your import feature it works without any problems.

    unfortunatelly does not work with wpallimport.

    Why I’m stubern about wpallimport: the number of places I need to import: 400.000
    How the best would it be to do with your import?
    What is the best option: I should divide this into multiple imports: how large one import can be?

    100K? or 400K?

    You tried dragging the category from the sheet into the Category field?
