WPML error with Category Icon / Image

    Hello,

    WPML appears to be causing errors in the linking of Icons and Images when adding or updating. Images either disappear or are some times from a different category event, also I see double upload buttons as shown in the screen shots.

    When WPML is deactivated it functions correctly, errors are removed and I can then update the icons and images.

    Also seeing broken links and errors in the image files, if you could tell me how to remove the entries with no images please as shown in the attached.

    I have fixed a few bugs with that, but i can’t replicate all of your screens shots, can i send you a beta to test?

    Im having the same problems, I have even replaced all my icons and some categories are still showing the ones I deleted…

    I have purged everything…

    still working on it now, will update

    hi ken, i have uploaded a beta to your site, (it will say there is an update but don’t update the plugin until we release 1.0.1)

    Please test the category issue, the broken images will need to be replaced but should not break again, and the double upload should be gone, please let us know.

    hi Stiofan,

    Well done – great job – thanks for your support.

    Yes that resolves the broken image link, I was able to delete all missing images from the media library and then update the each category with new images.

    I then activated WPML and tested the same which worked with out error.

    Only 1 little error I am seeing is in the selection on the media “Search” box appears – attached screen shot for you

    Thanks Ken, i have updated the media to the latest version and it will also eliminate user input errors.

    I have done the new update and still have the same problem, I have put in a new different icon for every category but still have some listings showing the standard map pin.png.

    I even ftp’d into the plugin and changed the pin.png and still its there lol..

    If you could provide an example that would be great, not exactly sure why that would happen.

    Hi Stiofan,

    As you can see I have all new icons in place categories, I have created each one and named them all different as not to cause conflict, I have even uploaded the new icon to the map functions default pin.png?
